About Terry Peterson

About Terry: Married for fourteen years, Terry and his wife Arlene, have two children Samantha, 12, and Andrew, 8. They live in West St. Louis County and are active in their congregation and school leadership. Terry is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in business with and emphasis in accounting. Terry entered the real estate industry in 1984 in the lending arena and worked hard to establish himself as a leader and top producer. With a decision to focus on sales management, in 1990 Terry was awarded the Senior Vice President title with Farm & Home Savings and developed a sales team that produced in excess of $500 million dollars in 1993. After Farm & Home was acquired, Terry accepted SVP position with Bank of America in 1995 and responsibility for the development and management of the mortgage line of business over three states. Under Terry’s management production grew from $300 million to over $1 billion. With this success, Terry was recruited by the nation’s largest residential lender, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, in 2002 and took responsibility for the St. Louis market. This move enabled Terry to focus his efforts on the St. Louis market and family. The effort paid off as production grew under Terry’s management from $290 million to $1.6 billion. While assisting individuals in their quest for home ownership was rewarding, the management positions were too removed from the customer. Terry made the decision to focus his efforts on directly assisting people in their home ownership goals and transitioned to the real estate business through partnership with John Williams and the M.O.R.E. Company.
